What is the proper name (if there is one) of the acrylic paint that they use to make 3-D acrylic nail art?
I'm not sure if its just called 3-D nail art paint, or whatever, but I want to know what its called.
And also, where might they sell it, and would it be expensive to buy?
I think this might be what you're on about, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pro-24-Colours-3D-Nail-Art-Glitter-Acrylic-Tip-Pen-New_W0QQitemZ160278697383QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item160278697383&_trkparms=72%3A1121%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
Ebay is the only place I have seen them. I have bought them and used them and they're pretty good but not for on natural nails unless you have an hour spare to sit and let it set properly..it really does take that long before they are set hard enough not to smudge. Also, some of the colours just don't work well enough to do anything but dots with them...they won't drag into a shape etc.
Where can you get a striper brush and acrylic gels? (nail art)?
I'm new at nail art and I'd like to get started. Where can I get these items at a local store?
If you buy nail art brushes you pay through the nose, go to any art suppliers and you can buy a wide range of top quality artist brushes. By acrylic gels do you mean the paint? Nail art acrylic paint is no different to any acrylic paint so you can get that at the art shop too at around £1 a bottle. If you'd like to view some of my work mail me thru yahoo and I'll send a link to my photobucket site
Do you prefer getting your acrylic nails air brushed or have them do the art by hand?
i went to this nail shop in pittsburg california and the nail shhop i went to has some nice nail art but they do airbrush there. Which do you prefer better, getting airbrushed designs or having them do they nail art by hand instead?? please help me and do you know if they can do air brush with an acrylic or does it have to be gel?? PLEASE HELP
i hate air brush because give it like a little less than a week and it will already be chipping. Try to make them paint on the design.
Can I use artist's acrylic paint to do nail art?
Would anyone know if you can use acrylic paints for your nail art? There are a no. of nail art products but I was wondering if the acrylic paints (usually found in bookstores or office supplies stores) are safe to be used on your nails.
not really, it peels off quickly with water, i suppose if you used a base coat, then the paint and then a top coat, it might work.. good luck!
If you went to Cosmetology school, did you study Nail Art design or was it basic acrylic?
Also what supplies do you receive while attending Beauty school?
i think you learn the basic acrylic.. and the proper and sanitary way to do a manicure and pedicure..
