How to get nail glue off acrylic nails?
i put on fake acrylic nails and i got a little glue on some of the nails, does anyone know how to take off the glue without condensing the nails??? plz help me i get so aggravated when i see the glue..

How do you remove nail glue from acrylic nails without dissolving the nails. I got some fake nails but I only had them on for 2 days. I just soaked them in warm water and they came off. Well I would like to reuse them but there is glue behind them. How do I remove the glue without dissolving the nails?

You have me confused. You say that you had acrylic nails put on professionally, and the came off after only two days? By soaking them in warm water? If that's the case, then you had some really shoddy and cheap work done on them. Acrylic nails don't fall off in water when applied properly, and when top quality acrylic products are used. This 'glue' that you are talking about. Is it only by the plastic tip? I ask this because the only place that glue is used is to hold the tip on. Many people incorrectly believe that acrylic nails are somehow 'glued' on, but that could not be any further from the truth. The acrylic forms a bond with the natural nail when it hardens, and that is how they stay on your nails. Glue has nothing to do with it. And you should be able to keep them in water for a long time without anything happening to them. And no, you cannot re-use them. You'll have to pay to have a new set applied. But one piece of advice, if I may? Don't go back to the same place you went to have these applied. You will get the same lousy job done on them as you already had. Go to a good, reputable salon, and expect to pay more than just $15-$25 or so for a high quality job. With nails, you get what you pay for...
Strengthening bond of acrylic nail glue...?
If I add a bit of acrylic powder to the glue, will it strengthen the bond and hence make the nails stay on longer? I don't have them professionally done, I just do them myself (whole nails, not tips), but they start falling off in 4 days or so. With the money I'm shelling out for nail glue, they should stay at least a week. I have this stuff called acrylic powder that came in a kit I got a while back; if I add some of that to the glue, will it help?
no that wont... you are just messing up product like that... you just need to get a better glue

get sum acetone nail polish remover, that should get it off no problem, use cotton wool and press the wool with the remover onto the dried glue for a mo before u start removing it as it helps soften the glue

I got acrylic nails and TRIED to keep them on as long as possible, but they bugged the heck outta me. I ended up biting/popping them all off in one sittling. Now i have ugly white glue residue (at least thats what i think it is) on my nails. :( how do i get it off? soaking? filing? help!!!
You need to soak your nails in acetone, or the same thing nail polish remover, and it will become looser and then you can pick it off with a nail clipper. GOOD LUCK
