I'm 19 and I use anti-aging and anti-wrinkle products Is it safe?
I'm 19 and I use anti-aging products during the day and an anti-wrinkle cream at night. I use them as a preventive measure. Is it safe for now and for the future?
Those products are not preventive types. They are for older women. If you want to waste your time and money, go for it. Not sure if they could be harmful. Ask a dermatologist just to be on the safe side.
Usually women use those products once they hit 30. It will still tighten your skin, I don't see how it will do harm. But its not like it will make you look "younger" or stop you from aging. Cause you still have young skin.

well duh obviously its safe...its going to make you not have wrinkles and your friends will get them while you dont...and to be honest i dont trust those watch whenyour old youll look like a shriveled up prune haha
It is said that it is much better to start using skin care products from an early age! If you only start using them at 30 you regret it at 40!
Continue using them as people start forming wrinkles from child on, and as you start so early already it will prevent may wrinkles! :)

I've been told not to waste time or money on anti-aging products at my age (I'm 21). Anti-aging products work differently, and your skin is not damaged enough to use them. The dermatologist told me to keep moisturizing, wear sunscreen, and exfoliate. You should probably take the same advice :)
It's safe, though probably a complete waste of money at age 19. If you drink plenty of water, eat healthy and wear a good quality sunblock, it will probably maintain your skin just as well. Worry about anti aging cream later in life!

What are some good anti-wrinkle products?
I would like to protect my skin from wrinkles before they start and my doctor recommended I use some anti aging products. I'm very prone to breakouts so I'm looking for something that is oil free, won't clog my pores and of course something that works.

You know I use this product I got on ebay, it is basically this Vitamin C eye cream and I like it fine--also, walgreen sells a vitamin E eye cream I use.
I really am not sure if any of those wrinkles creams work better than the others. I think just keeping your wrinkled area well hydrated is the key.
I have spent a lot of money on face creams. I bought that Strivectin for $135 and it didn't work for me @ all.. I also bought Dr. Perricones stuff (sold at sephora and VERY expensive)..I liked his stuff because of the feel and stuff, but I didn't see my wrinkles lessen--so it wasn't worth the $.
I have heard great things about Retin-a...which you get in a prescription-I am sure you know what that is. Besides something like that OR plastic surgery (including botox, chemical peels, etc) --I don't think they make much difference, so why pay $100+ for a cream when you can get one for $4 that works the same.
Also, there is a lady who tests out all the skin creams, makeups, etc. her name is Paula (forgot her last name).. She has a book called "Don't go to the Cosmetic counter without me" ---- she looks at the ingredients, etc and has determined that a lot of the generics are superb, while the high priced ones are packaged crap. There are some high end ones that she says are good products (which she admits are WAY overpriced) but there are a lot of low-cost ones that do the same thing.
She has a website and she rates a few things on it-- she, also, sells her own stuff. i have never tried it though.

PS- I went to the bookstore one day, and looked at her book- I didn't buy it, but I wrote down a few creams, but I forgot what they are now---I need to do that again. You can find her book in the beauty section of Barnes and Noble. ---or the library (although theirs might not be as current).
