I'm 19 and I use anti-aging and anti-wrinkle products Is it safe?

I'm 19 and I use anti-aging products during the day and an anti-wrinkle cream at night. I use them as a preventive measure. Is it safe for now and for the future?
Those products are not preventive types. They are for older women. If you want to waste your time and money, go for it. Not sure if they could be harmful. Ask a dermatologist just to be on the safe side.

Usually women use those products once they hit 30. It will still tighten your skin, I don't see how it will do harm. But its not like it will make you look "younger" or stop you from aging. Cause you still have young skin.

well duh obviously its safe...its going to make you not have wrinkles and your friends will get them while you dont...and to be honest i dont trust those watch whenyour old youll look like a shriveled up prune haha

It is said that it is much better to start using skin care products from an early age! If you only start using them at 30 you regret it at 40!
Continue using them as people start forming wrinkles from child on, and as you start so early already it will prevent may wrinkles! :)

I've been told not to waste time or money on anti-aging products at my age (I'm 21). Anti-aging products work differently, and your skin is not damaged enough to use them. The dermatologist told me to keep moisturizing, wear sunscreen, and exfoliate. You should probably take the same advice :)

It's safe, though probably a complete waste of money at age 19. If you drink plenty of water, eat healthy and wear a good quality sunblock, it will probably maintain your skin just as well. Worry about anti aging cream later in life!

Anything you simply apply to skin is going to do very little if anything at all. And many such products have skin harming, skin aging ingredients. I would like to protect my skin from wrinkles before they start and my doctor recommended I use some anti aging products. I'm very prone to breakouts so I'm looking for something that is oil free, won't clog my pores and of course something that works.
I'd prefer something that's not insanely expensive. Thanks.

anti-wrinkle under eye & face creams? I'm 30 yrs old, but I have always looked older than my age. I'm looking for the best anti-wrinkle cream and the best price for a great product. I'm also looking for a great face firming cream.
gah, I am 32 and dangit if the wrinkles aren't starting to rear their ugly head. I feel ya.
You know I use this product I got on ebay, it is basically this Vitamin C eye cream and I like it fine--also, walgreen sells a vitamin E eye cream I use.
I really am not sure if any of those wrinkles creams work better than the others. I think just keeping your wrinkled area well hydrated is the key.
I have spent a lot of money on face creams. I bought that Strivectin for $135 and it didn't work for me @ all.. I also bought Dr. Perricones stuff (sold at sephora and VERY expensive)..I liked his stuff because of the feel and stuff, but I didn't see my wrinkles lessen--so it wasn't worth the $.
I have heard great things about Retin-a...which you get in a prescription-I am sure you know what that is. Besides something like that OR plastic surgery (including botox, chemical peels, etc) --I don't think they make much difference, so why pay $100+ for a cream when you can get one for $4 that works the same.
Also, there is a lady who tests out all the skin creams, makeups, etc. her name is Paula (forgot her last name).. She has a book called "Don't go to the Cosmetic counter without me" ---- she looks at the ingredients, etc and has determined that a lot of the generics are superb, while the high priced ones are packaged crap. There are some high end ones that she says are good products (which she admits are WAY overpriced) but there are a lot of low-cost ones that do the same thing.
She has a website and she rates a few things on it-- she, also, sells her own stuff. i have never tried it though.

The Botax draft was a last-minute addendum to the Senate salubriousness bill. It was aimed at plugging a take gap after Sen. Reid scaled back a planned levy on dear-value indemnity plans. The Botax would engender relatively humble revenue compared with other measures in the bill, which the Congressional Budget Work estimates would bring in $848 billion over 10 years.
Sen. Reid needed eschew paying for the legislation and wanted to find funding within the fettle-care limit, a spokesman said. Procedures to right a congenital singularity, disfiguring contagion or personal abuse would be exempt.
"The bill's paid for, in part, from [taxes on] unusual areas of the trim-care system. This is precisely one small part of it," said Jim Manley, spokesman for Sen. Reid.
Medicis Chief Big cheese Jonah Shacknai acknowledged that opponents of the proposed tax faced an uphill riot because patients weren't organized to restrict it. But he said patients would bleed for the tax directly -- the get of elective cosmetic procedures isn't on the whole covered by warranty.
Passage, he added, could set a criterion for taxes on such lifestyle choices as hedonism hair cuts and locks-coloring.

Alpha Hydroxy Acids in anti wrinkle creams became sought-after in the early 90’s as a way to combat over exposure to the sun and elements in an ever-increasing, age-touchy generation. Alpha Hydroxy Acids are found naturally in non-fluctuating fruits and milk products, so it was believed they were safe due to their natural materialization. Recent arguments have been that it is important that skin that has been exposed to acid peels, unstudied or not, is more sensitive to sun exposure and could increase the risks of skin cancers.
Because wrinkles are caused by perished, dry surface skin cells that shrivel and are no longer hydrated and podgy, the alpha hydroxy acid control methods slough off this wooden skin and allow younger, new skin to surface. This is a up to date solution that rids the appearance of the dead skin, however, consistent aging shortens the life of the skin cell’s gifts to retain its vitamins, elastin and collagen.
Repetitive facial gestures like squinting, smile lines, look disapprovingly upon lines, eyebrow lines, are usually deeper in the shell and usually in the underlying muscles. This makes the skin cells manner a ripple effect over time. Various topical anti-aging creams and anti-wrinkle creams, can be a pocket-term remedy as they will only affect upper levels of pelt cell arrangements.
Alpha Hydroxy acids are an exfoliate that displace the outer dead skin to bring newer veneer cells to the surface. These newer skin cells are spontaneous of the finer lines that first start to surface. However, some people could be hypersensitive to Alpha Hydroxy acid treatments and this could result in redness, blistering or itchiness which can take a turn for the worse.
It is important to know whether this is a good method to chose for anti-aging creams or anti-wrinkle creams, based on the unitary skin types. For somebody that already has dry skin, this could produce drier outside and cause more flakiness, when they may need a hydrating or moisturizing treatment as opposed to. If you do not have a dermatologists suggestion to try alpha hydroxy acids, you may hunger for to be sure that this is the proper method to try, instead of deep moisturizing treatments first.
