I have a braun silk-epil expressive 7681, the charger has been broken and i can't seem to find anyone with replacements, i have e-mailed braun but they have not replied.

Waxing is the best option as it makes the skin soft. Braun Epilator can also be used, but I wouldnt suggest for long term use. While using it be careful not to cause any wounds or cuts on your. The skin becomes dry and scratchy so apply a good moisturiser after that.

Whats better the Emjoi Epilator or the Braun Epilator?

I am thing about buying an Epilator but unsure which brand to get. Do they really hurt or do you get use to it? Any info would be great.

I have never tried the Braun epilator but I have owned a rechargeable Emjoi for 6 years and couldn't be happier. It removes hair from the root and over time it keeps hair from growing thicker (as it does when you shave). Since hair becomes thinner and weaker, you may need to exfoliate regularly or use a loofah to prevent ingrown hairs.
It is great for legs, underarms and even the bikini line. I tried it on the upper lip but hair is too thin so it breaks before it gets a chance to be pulled out.
If you have shaved for a long time it may hurt a little at the beginning, but after a short while you get used to the prickling sensation.
