philips epilator?
Jun 18, 2008 by rockrollradio | Posted in Other - Skin & Body
hey i just bought the philips epilator, it was half price in boots.
I got home and did my underarms and it was painfull but seemed to work well. im gonna try my legs tomorrow as im going away for a week on friday.
can anyone tell me if it will keep me hair/stubble free for the week? the first time i use it?
also if u have any more info about it please let me know.
I have one of them and they are great! You have to wait for your hair to grow back...takes about three weeks for me, and then you epliate it off again. Every time your hair regrows though, less hairs come back!Great alternative to waxing, which is messy...The key is to do it about a day before you go out or want to show off your legs, because it leaves red bumps all over your legs or wherever else you epilate :p also, use lots and lots of moisturising cream all over your legs. For best results, do it a day or two before you go away and it will stay hair-free for the week. After about a week or five days, you may notice a bit of stubble because some hairs just get broken off, not pulled out, and these keep growing. Just get these with tweezers..they tend to be around your knees.
hope this helps :D

how do I use philips epilator painlessly?
Jun 26, 2006 by Chablis F | Posted in Tattoos
It always hurts in the beginning, but keep it up and some it will be fine. Try to do it often so there isn't as much hair coming out at once and using your epilator after a shower is always best.

Is the exfoliation head of the Philips HP6475 Satin Ice Epilator any good?
Jul 28, 2007 by moogle301 | Posted in Other - Skin & Body
This epilator has an exfoliating head. I wondered if it was any good
I just got one and yes i do love it. It really does leave my legs feeling very smooth. I have just a little trouble around the knees tho and sometimes use my regular razor to make sure I have removed all the hair froms on the knees!!!

braun silk-epil or philips epilator?
which one should I elect? I can’s stand the pain caused by waxing, so I yen to buy an epilator, but I don’t know which one is better. Unfortunately I heard that after using an epilator skin of one's teeth grows under your skin.. Hello, I had an epilator a few years back and it worked ok. However it did aggrieve a little. My sister thought it hurt a lot. *However the newer ones do not depress. They have improved them a lot. I recently bought the Braun silk epil. This now has, epilator with fiddle (so it doesnt hurt), and normal shaving head. I was shocked to find the new Braun works greater and does not hurt. I wouldnt recommend buying a cheapo mark, as they will be inferior and put you off for life. Stick to Braun and Phillips. Also anyone who tolerant of them a while back may not realise the newer versions work better and dont broken. J
