is using epilators safe on face?

I wouldn't use it on your face, it would be very painful and give you ingrowing hairs and a rash. The best thing to use is a depilatory cream for sensitive skin, only leave it on for a few seconds....about 60 should be fine, and wash it off. I have PCOS and I use this method it lasts for about two weeks.
Hope you find omething that works for you, I can give you the name of the cream I use if you want to try it.

Safe, yes, But very painful to me. I'd go with home electrolisis for the face. That removes hairs one at a time, so not good for large areas, but it's 100% pain free and PERMANANT! :)

I don't see why not. They work like tweezers, and you can use tweezers on your face, so an epilator should be safe; it can't cut you.

Some time ago (about a year), the barber accidentally shaved some of the hair in my cheek area and it seems to be growing back faster. I haven't touched that area since because i didn't want it to grow even faster and grow closer to my nose. I've heard that epilators pull hair from the roots and if you keep using them, your hair will stop growing because the hair folicles get damaged. has anyone used epilators on their face or know whether using them will stop hair growing? someone please help!
ummmmmmm you can but you will get these little red bumps that last for a long time and can you imagine how BAD IT HURTS!?!?!?!?!?! its like waxing only worse...... you can get the same effect from diplatories (nair kinda stuff for your face), waxing, threading,tweezing, or if it only bothers you because its darker you can use facial hair bleach

I notice most eplitors say they are for use on arms, legs and underarms, but can you use them on your face as well (say chin or mustache area?) Do they make epilators for your face or can you use any kind?
It depends on how sensitive is your skin and how good is your epilator. I bought the last model of Brown silke pilk and it has a specially made device for face use only. There are also some wet papers in the whole compect that prevents your skin from inflammations. I already tried it and it's working without problems. So get it!!!

What kind of epilators are best ?Would I get any in Orissa?
hi, i was thinking of geting an epilator and i want to get rid of hair in the same places as you do! I've looked online and i've found this one called: Braun Silk Epil Xelle 5685 Body and Face Epilator.
So i guess you can use it anywhere since it says 'Body'. If you can't get it where you live,try ordering it online.

I will going for a holiday soon. I am thinking of buying braun epilator, but I am not sure which one can be used on face. I need it for upper lip,cheeks and lower chin.
I have harmonal imbalance, so my facial hair grows rapidly in a week after waxing. Hence thinking of saving my money by buying an epilator.
Please give me the brand name and model number of the epilator.

braun has several specific models with shaver heads for facial hair.
e.g: Braun Silk-epil Cosmetic Hair Remover EF 20
however i have never used it and honestly i think it wld lead to having thicker hair. why dont u get facial wax strips or learn threading yourself?
better yet visit a cosmetologist.
