Is it okay to still use my Hylexin eye cream if it is expired?

The eye cream says that it expired 07/07 but it has never been opened. Is it still okay to use it?
the thing with that is that they do not guarantee it after that the chemicals aren't as fresh. I would try it on a small patch of skin over night if it doesn't irritate you then go for it

Uh, no. You should never use expired meds or make up. Over time the chemicals change and can become toxic, even if it's not been opened.

Does Hylexin eye cream really work?

Ive been curious about trying Hylexin eye cream for a while now but have been nervous b/c of the expensive price and not knowing if it really helps. Has anyone tried it? Ive heard from reviews online that it has helped people get rid of the dark purple marks under their eyes...but what about the puffiness? Is it supposed to work for that too?
Also, would you know the best/least expensive way of getting it (not including Ebay)? Thanks.

I ran across it on the internet and I want to know if it really works. It supposedly removes dark circles under the eyes. I've had dark circles under my eyes and this seems too good to be true.
This is one of those products that works well on a few people and has no effect on others. So what I suggest is that you get a sample (or two if you can) from Sephora before you spend a lot of money - because it is extremely expensive - on the product itself.
I used to like the Stri-Vectin eye cream better as I saw an immediate improvement. I have dark circles that are hereditary and this was the only cream that made a significant improvement.
There's actually a new cream by Avon called Anew Clinical Eye Lift which is the best product I have used so far. It seems to work on everyone fortunately and it's a cream I can recommend to you. Reasonably priced as well!

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off. Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.
