Oct 09, 2007 by miuchan | Posted in Makeup
I was thinking about eye cream from Derma E, REN or Dr. Haushuka. I don't like the products with paraben. What do you recommend?

oooh 'living nature' from new zealand has an absolutely brilliant range. all natural. im not sure if they sell em outside of nz or australia but i highly reccomend it.
whatever u do make sure u use a speacialised eye cream and not just a normal one for the whole face because the eye skin is sooo thin that normal moisturiser just sinks right thru and completely wrecks ur look.
experiment with some testers and u should be able to find one - have funsies!! :D

Good organic eye cream?
Nov 15, 2007 by Kiki77 | Posted in Other - Skin & Body
I'm looking for an organic replacement for my very good but paraben laden eye cream, preferably something that isn't too heavy so I can use it under makeup. Any ideas? I like Lavere and Spiezia Organics, has anyone tried their eye creams? Thanks in advance.
First, the answer with Lancome...Lancome is NOT organic. I use Hylunia's Eye Treatment, natural and organic, it has pycnogenol(grape seed extract) which is great for dark circles, arnica for puffiness and vitamin C for fine lines, it has NO parabens or any harmful synthetic ingredients. It is light enough to even use during the day under makeup

So yeah the skin around my eyes is red especially my eyelids.I heard of some product containing caffeine that was said to help, but I don't remember what brand it was. I prefer organic products, but if you swear it works for this I'll try it.
I am one of her wonderful contacts..lol.
I saw a commercial last night for Garnier Nutrisse Caffeine Roll on Eye Cream.
Also, if you like organics , Bath and Body Works (I am a junkie and have every scent known to man) Anyhoo, they have this one. I have not tried it, but their products are so nice, I'll bet it 's great!

Miessence Firming Neck and Eye Serum- reviewed and recommended
06.09.10
Miessence is an organic mark that makes by a hair's breadth about everything from deodorant, to aftershave, to makeup and skincare. The assembly’s organic credentials are so sizeable that it has the seal of concurrence of the Biological Farmers of Australia, whose standards are much higher than here in the US. For the last few weeks, I have been tough out the Firming Neck and Eye Serum ($43).
Initially, I was puzzled by a cream that would do overlapped duty on the eyes and the neck. It seems to me that the hide is very different – more demure around the eye, thicker on the neck. As it happens, Miessence didn’t exertion out for me as a neck cream (but then, my fell has gotten to resembling the underbelly of a reptile). As a firming eye cream, however, Miessence proved to be a awful success.
As well as being almost 100% organic, Miessence manages to en masse avoid any chemicals or preservatives. I like the grouping of hops (this is also a peculiarity of Derma Bubbling’s eye cream) as they draw nigh with prenylated flavonoids that are antioxidant.
There is also horsetail, which crops up in shampoos these days. It is mouth-watering in potassium, silicon and calcium and has historically been habituated to to strengthen influence nails. Saponins and flavanoids (markedly quercetin) also give it the talents to help put wounds (as acclimatized by the ancient Greeks). The affair about quercetin is that it may be a much more of a influential antioxidant than was in the old days thought. Cornell University has a new way of measuring antioxidant potency called ‘cellular antioxidant movement’ (CAA) that tests the antioxidant activities of a concoct inside the stall itself. This is an approach that is deemed to be more spot on target. Of all the flavenoids, quercetin had the highest CAA value.
