Maybelline expertwear Eye Shadow Quad
On each square, it tells you the place you put the color...
my question is: can you put the colors in different places on your eye?

it says on the site 3 different looks....what are they?
NO! If you don't follow their directions a Maybelline representative will come to your house and confiscate your makeup.

it wont hurt your eye or anything if you put the colors in the non-suggested places..thats just how they believe the colors would look the best on your eye!
Bayliegh | Aug 27, 2007
you can do it how ever you want, the 'styles' are just a good way of doing it and usually look best when you do it that way. hope this helps =]]

you could put them wearever on you eyelid but it usually looks best and really highlights your eyes if you follow were it says to apply a certain color at a certain area

I mix and match maybelline eyeshadows all the time! :) Try and put the darker colours on the outside of the lid, rather than nearer to your nose, this will make your eyes appear brighter!! :)

yes you can put them in any order that you wish. i usually do that.

You can do anything you like. Play around with different color combinations and see which one you like the best. That's always fun to do anyway.

Which of the Maybelline eyeshadows are the best? Any complaints against Maybelline eyeshadow?
Aug 22, 2006 by kawaii_megane_ko | Posted in Makeup
From data I gleaned off these answers, I got that Maybelline produces the best eyeshadow. Is it true? If so, which type (i.e. Dream Mousse), and if not, why isn't it great?
I've found that Maybelline products work very well for a lower priced line (unlike Covergirl; total garbage). I use their ExpertWear eyeshadow. It's a light powder, and while it's shimmery, it's not super sparkly. I don't really have any complaints about it.

Rimmel Colour Rush Quad Eyeshadow or Maybelline Eye Studio quatro?
Feb 01, 2009 by light.grenade | Posted in Makeup
Maybelline is twice the price of Rimmel eyeshadow. Is it worth investing that much money in it or can I get the same effect with the cheaper one?
with eye shadow, the pigment is key....
pigment is what gives your eyeshadow it's color- more expenisive eyeshadows have more pigment, less talc (talc = bad). less pigment means that you have to apply more to get the same color look.
personally, i wouldn't even buy maybelline eyeshadow (MAC or urban decay is better, but costs about $15 for only one shade) but if your on a budget, i would go maybelline over the rimmel

Which of these brands has the best eyeshadow - Maybelline, Revlon, Rimmel or CoverGirl?

Please justify your answer and include comparisons with the other brands i've listed if you can.
Honestly, I love all of them.. But if I had to choose I'd say either Rimmel or Cover Girl because they are cheaper for the most part. Rimmel has some really great colors as well. Love them all though.
