How to apply mineral eyeshadow? How to make it last longer?
I usually first apply Urban Decay Primer Potion. Then I would apply a medium layer of mineral eyeshadow (Everyday Minerals). But It will usually last about 3-4 hours only. Am I applying it incorrectly? Are their any other tips to keep my eyeshadow last all day?
I always use any kind of correction stick and cover my eyelid up to under my brow line. This is the kind of stick (in a tube like lipstick) normally used to cover discoloration under the eyes. There are several cosmetic companies that carry these (Maybelline, Almay, Rimmel) and come in various shades. I use a light beige hue.
In using this stick over the years, I have discovered that if I apply a coat of this first on my eye area, the shadow I put on over it stays perfect the whole day - minimal fading and/or gathering in the crease.

dust a translucent powder on all over. itll settle the makeup.
First use a moisturizer or primer or you can use both. Than put a little foundation on your lid before you apply the eyeshadow this will help it go on smoother,last longer and not crease.
Has anyone used Aromaleigh mineral eyeshadow?
I want to purchase some eyeshadow(s). I thought the mineral eyeshadows have more color choices, but I am not sure which company to buy from. There are so many mineral companies. I am in my mid-30's and some of the colors look like they could emphasize wrinkles. Does anyone have any suggestions on Aromaleigh and other mineral makeup eyeshadows? Thanks!
I have not used Aromaleigh, but I've heard really good things about them. With any mineral eyeshadow, the most important thing is that you use a good base/primer. Mineral shadows don't stick to the skin as well as regular ones, so it's essential. I don't use them because I have to have everything packed or it seems it makes it real mess.

Can anyone recommend a good mineral eyeshadow/eyeliner that doesn't crease?
I'm looking for a mineral eyeshadow that can be used as a eyeliner when a liner brush is dipped in water. I have the problem of my liner always creasing. Currently I use Jane Iredale liner that creases.
I've heard of Gabriel's or YR Urth, has anyone used these as a liner or shadow and do they crease?
Or can you recommend another mineral shadow/liner?

I love Mad Minerals Indelible Cream eyeliner, it is amazing, and they have so many colors. Go check it out, it lasts and lasts, and is really creamy.
Do you like the Neutrogena Mineral Sheers eyeshadow?
What shade of the Neutrogena Mineral Sheers eyeshadow have you tried? Please describe the color. What did you like/dislike about it?
I love the Neutrogena line. It's non irritating and very light. I have all 6 colors and they are very blendable! I really don't have much complaints about it. I love all the Neutrogena Cosmetic products!

I have seen some youtube videos where they spray a little water or visine on the powder or brush first. What does this do for the makeup?
I bought a pretty mineral eyeshadow from Avon today and havent used it yet.
Wellll I own a few mineral eyeshadows and I've never actually noticed any difference in the staying power of them &other eyeshadows (but that might just be bc I always use a primer). Oh and putting water/visine with the eyeshadow makes it turn from a powder to a cream so the color comes up MUCH bolder when you apply it.
