I'm looking for a special brush, more like a brush size bed of nails, used to straighten out loose weave hair, after washihg & drying it. Can anybody help?
It may seem strange but try a metal dog grooming brush (a new brush only). We buy a lot of weave pony tails and this always works after we wash them.

have you tried a beauty supply store? We have Sally's (a chain) here; but there are many others.
Good Luck!

For straight hair, use a paddle brush which is flat and wide, is best for brushing out long hair and for creating straight, smooth styles Think of a classic one-length style. It also gives you a mini scalp massage. Because of its size and shape, don't use this brush to style layers. It'll never add volume, which is what layers are for.

I cleaned out my 2 vanaties in my master bathroom. I came accross 4 hair brushes that became dust and dirt collector's. I soaked them in water & tried cleaning them with a comb but it didn't work. They are nice brushes otherwise I would just toss them. Help! There has to be a better way :(

How do you get the hair from hair brushes?
Jul 19, 2007 by happyruby | Posted in Hair
Got wonderful answers to how to clean hair brushes but is there an easy way to get the hair out in order to clean?
I usually pull it out with my fingers or use a long, thick needle (like the ones for knitting) to pull more hair at once.

I'm looking for a good quality large rounded hair brush. I have bought like 5 conair styling hair brushes in the past year and the handles would always fall of or the bristles would fall out. I want a sturdy hair brush that will give me good results and last for a log time. Any sugestions?

what do different types of hair brushes do?
Oct 18, 2007 by Danielle | Posted in Hair
such as a round brush and flat brushes that are hard and soft ones..does it make a difference in the way you're hair looks and how?
There are different types of brushes for styling, depending of if you want to style your hair straight or curled. Round brushes are used while blow drying to smooth hair and curl it at the ends. Flat brushes are used for straight styles. Hard or soft depends on your own preference for feel.
