I have been looking for a good hair cutter that can meet the needs of my hair. Does anyone know a good place for me to go. I hope its somewhere near Fremont, CA. Thanks!
ask every day people around your town you may be surprised, you see a hair cut you really like, just politely ask, i love your haircut who does your hair? Should you hear the same name of the salon more than a few times my guess would be to give it a try.

I got my hair cut the other day, where I go its $24 for any haircut. How much should you tip the hair cutter? She didn't make conversation with me or anything...
So if she was friendly how much would you tip?
And if she did to me and just cut it and I was on my way how much would you tip?
How would a hair cutter go about cutting a 19 month olds hair?

My son needs his first hair cut! I've trimmed his bangs a tiny bit with the few strands that have gotten long enough to get into his eyes and he HATES that! I know he'll really hate having a stranger come near his hair to cut it. How are they able to give a toddler a nice hair cut if there is a chance of a struggle? I don't want my son having a mullet for Easter!
You're lucky, my son's hair grows so fast, he's needed haircuts every other week since he was 9 months old :) My son is also 19 months old, and I've seen that what helps TREMENDOUSLY is watching Daddy get his hair cut first. Since most boys want to do what their parents do, it seems that thinking "Well, Daddy did it so I can too" helps keep him calm. If possible, request that they only use scissors - no electric cutters! Especially if this is his first cut; the sound will likely scare the wits out of him.

Ii have hair down to my waist and want to cut it. However, I want someone who can really understand how my hair behaves and can give me a great cut that I can manage myself later. Nothing fancy - just something classy, easy and of course attractive and suits me and my lifestyle.
Jie Matar. hes arguable the best stylist in canada. hes amazing at making everyone look their best while accomodating their needs. however hes extremely pricey. hes at Salon Jie on avenue road. anyone at the salon should be able to give you a great cut, but he is the BEST

There are many in Montreal who won't fully understand what they had until they come to understand its loss, which is to say this metropolis lost one of its lyrical greats this days of yore weekend when chorus girl/songwriter Lhasa de Sela passed away modern Friday evening, January 1, only just before midnight after a 21-month conflict with breast cancer. She was only 37 years old.
Though her most new recordings had a more optimistic bent, throughout the bulk of her career Lhasa wrote and sang predominantly melancholic, heavyhearted songs with inappropriate-ranging Mexican ranchera, gypsy populace and French chanson influences. Blessed with a low, evocative voice (that she employed in three languages: Spanish, English and French), she imbued these laments with authentic passion and an almost abysmal depth, and in so doing gave entity to music that often grieved its shrinkage.
Lhasa, who was Mexican-American, was born in Big Indian, New York and travelled around extensively during her formative years (all three of her sisters are circus performers). She ultimately settled in Montreal and began performing nascent versions of her songs in tight bars as a duo with guitarist Yves Desrosiers, with whom she would dash off and perform for many years.
