Where can i buy plain hair pins to make my own wedding hair accessories?

I want to decorate hair pins to match my wedding theme and cannot find plain hair pins (not the bobby pins).
Tried ebay and my local chemist. The only ones I could find are the already decorated ones.
Any ideas??

Hi all,

I just got my hair pin curled and the curls are being held with little metal hair clamps (not bobby pins)...i have a flight today at LAX, will I have to take my hair pins out due to the metal detectors?

i dont think u have to lol and il tell u why!
i got braces in another country and i was comin back to the uk and i was scared they would let the thing off!!!! hahahahahhahahah lol!!!
but they didnt! lol i was soo pleased! lol!

i dont think your clips will let it off

the open hair pins do not close at the tip and have very little force.. how do you use them?

An open-ended hair pin is basically for loose hold, in addition to bobby pins. You just slide them in around the small piece of hair you want to hold in an updo.

Bobby pins, however, are somewhat closed ended. You weave them in at the base of where you want the hair to stay put, and they clamp it down. Hair pins secure the small loose pieces you wouldn't need a super-holding bobby for.

Whether you’re into three pins or hairpins, there’s no deficit of options this winter for townswoman skinny skiers. “It’s definitely beautiful up here accurate now because it’s been so chill,” said Durango Nordic Center Chairman Helen Low. “And I’ll to all intents regret saying this, but all my machinery is working at bottom well.”

The Durango Nordic Center, which operates on capture leased from Durango Mountain Refuge, is 100 percent open, with 19 kilometers of meticulously groomed trails. In appendage to the old lung-busting favorites, the Durango Nordic Center is boasting three new trails this year: the Lynx Coil, near Boyce Lake; and the North Flagstaff and North Brilliant extensions, both off the North Hoop.

“We have three new trails, it’s stimulating,” said Low.

The Nordic Center will have a jeopardize to show off the new terrain in a few weeks when Durango hosts the Unchanging Mountain Class Junior Olympics qualifiers Jan. 16-17.
