I recently noticed my hair is thinning really bad on the top of my head.I have no idea why but I was thinking of just cutting it short and buying a wig.I seen a web site for wigs for people losing their hair due to medical reasons,and I was wondering should I get one.I dont feel pretty anymore,I feel like a grandma,so I wanted to know does anyone wear a wig and how does it feel?Does it fall off or get crooked or do people notice its a wig?I really need some advice.Thank You.
First let me tell you I am 28 years old and nothing is wrong with my hair. I wear what is called a lace front wigs alot of the stars wear them. The wig is bonded down to you hairline and the lace allows you to part it to reveal you new scalp. you can get any style or texture i have about 6 of them curly straight wavy naturally straight. I am a cosmetologist and the salon i work for specialize in the lace front wigs and I have seen women with alopecia and other types of hair loss and when we apply the lace front wig they are like new women when they leave. Go online and look up lace front wigs and see what you think!!!

How do I start an online hair wig business? What's the best way to buy and sell etc.. I am passionate about wigs on want to sell them online. Start my own business.
The best thing to do is purchase you a website. Also, go to one of the hair warehouse online and buy some wigs. Get a mannequin(s) place the wigs that you brought online and take pictures of it. Make sure that the website looks nice though, no one wants to buy from a jacked up looking store.

The fake hair industry is huge. The most sought after wigs and hair pieces claim to be 100% human hair. Obviously, there are not enough people out there wacking their hair off for the sake of providing head coverings.
IS REAL HUMAN HAIR. MOST OF THEM FROM ASIAN COUNTRIES WHERE THEY GROW THEIR HAIR AND CUT AND SELL FOR THEIR LIVING.

I've tryed the Digi Makeover thing/ instyle thing to see how i would look like with bonde hair but I can't tell cuz it looks sooo fake and the blonde is like a yellow.
How can I tell if i will look good with blonde hair?
I was gonna try a store to put on the wigs so i can decide if i should dye it. What stores would have them?
I sorta look like Miley Cyrus and Alyson Stoner just so ya know anddddd
Ashley Tisdale had her hair bleached...and she loooks soooo pretty...what are the chances that will happen with me?
if you get your hair bleach and you have long pretty straight hair then it will turn out the same and you will have gorgeous hair(MUAHZ sign off.......

I went to a convention this month and the wig that I wore was black, and for next year the character I'm going as has short blue hair so I figured save money and dye the wig. Can I do that? I tried burning a strand of the wig hair and the fire didn't go out, it was similar to the string on a bomb. Unlike my hair the fire went away in a second.
you can dye a synthetic wig, but you cannot dye a black synthetic wig. You can't lighten the nylon as it has the pigment in the structure itself. (think about black nylon stockings you can bleach and bleach and they will never lighten) You should just buy a blue wig, or buy a light colored wig and dye it using permanent ink. (trust me it works WAY better than rit dye and hair dye will not work)
and the easiest way to tell if a wig is real or synthetic is the price. a human hair wig (a good one) will set you back almost $500 USD. also does it melt?and is it SUPER shiny? if it is it is synthetic. I would say 70% of wigs for sale are synthetic. hope i could Help!
