On monday, i got purple extensions put in because i can't bleach my hair, and i don't like how they look because they're very obviously not my real hair so how can I get them to blend?
If your hair is layered

How much do real hair extensions cost?
Jun 21, 2008 by fo shizzle | Posted in Hair
Ok, my hair is a little bit longer than my shoulders, and I want to get extensions that make my hair about 2-3 feet longer, real hair of course. The color would be black. I was just wondering approximatly how much this would cost to get it sewn in? And the aproximate price of getting it glued in?
And one more question: If I get it glued in, how long will it stay in? A couple months, a year?
Okay, I'm quite the expert at this.
So the price for real extensions would be anywhere around $60 - $1000. However, for a person who is not rich, I would say $150 - $300. If you get them glued in, they won't last long because when you shower, the shampoo and conditioner washes it away; in time they will fall out. If you choose to glue them in, you will have to fix them EVERYweek. There is also a choice of getting clip ins- a bit more pricey, but better for your hair.
Getting them sewen in, aka, weaves.
-you would have to buy the extensions so lets say $150.
-then getting your hair weaved would be approximately $80.
SO, around $230 and up.
OH, if you choose glue, just remember that the glue will damage your hair and scalp. This occurs because when you take the extensions out, the glue is still sticking to your scalp and some hair, so it tends to rip out a lot of your hair. it left me with a bald spot :/
Best of luck,

When you dye your hair, does your real hair grow back to its original color?
May 30, 2008 by mich d | Posted in Hair
When you dye your hair, your entire hair turns that color. lets say i dye my hair brown. but my real hair color is black. once my dyed hair starts growing, will you see my black hair growing from the brown hair?
Yes. The new growth will be your natural color. You will notice it when it grows in.

How much can I expect to pay for real hair extensions?
Dec 02, 2007 by scouse princess | Posted in Hair
I want them to be real hair and I don't want clip in ones. My current hair length is past the shoulder, and I want to add quite a few more inches length to it. Also,.is it better to get them weaved or glued in?
Weaved are more expensive, but they're a lot better for your hair and they stay in longer. The glue is really difficult to get out and they only last about 5 days, plus you have to do touchups every morning. If you take care of them well and continuously do touchups they can last a couple of months. Most people just get tired of the extra time it takes in the morning and the extra unexpected money you have to spend on extra hair, glue and glue remover.
I live in a small town and glue ins run about $200 with the hair included.
Weaves run about $400 with hair included.
Real hair, usually from Sally's, which is about $50-$100.
