where to buy lancome make up in australia?
were can i buy lancome make up. is it available in the chemists? this is for melbourne australia. thanks
I know that most Terry White Chemists in Australia stock Lancome. The nearest one to you I believe would be Terry White at Knox. You can also try an inner-city Myer or David Jones.

Chemists such as Soul Pattison have them. However, is SP doesnt have them try Myers which definitely has them and or David Jones.
Melbourne should have a wide range of makeup (I was there last year and was amazed at the range of products available- more than Sydney)....
Depending on the type of skin tone and skin type, Lancome consultants are also good to give you free demo regarding their products and can even do a free makeover for you (though not always) so you can try their products before you feel you want to buy them. I find Myer consultants and David Jones ones to be the best for that since they are trained in make-up looks:)

How much of Lancome's products do I have to purchase so that they will apply the make-up on me for my prom?
This will be at Beverly Center, Los Angeles.
Have you considered looking at other places? Such as Sephora, MAC or any other counters like Bobbi Brown? Usually, if you let them know it's for your prom, they may not have a fit and try to sell you everything they put on you.
Is the photo shoot make-up different than wearing make-up like Lancome, Clinique, Almay, etc?
I had professional pictures done ... I wore my own foundation and the make-up artist applied the rest (powder, eye make up, blush, lipstick).
But my pictures came out as if I did not have any make-up on at all except for the eyes...I looked like a raccoon.
Any suggestions?
They only difference is the difference is brands. Like Bobby Brown or Cover Girl for example. It is all in the application. Yes, you were under a lot more light and you need to compensate for that. Applying a mineral based brush on foundation over your regular foundation can really cover up and "glow" at the same time. Also quality powders such as Mac generally gave a higher pigment content than say any drug store brand. IE- they go on more intensely and last longer.

i bought lancome face brushes and a case for twenty bucks for all of it, which is really swell. I got:

Large Shadow Brush # 11
Angle Shadow Brush #13
Presision Liner Brush #14
and a Smudger Brush #10
do any of you own any of those brushes? how do you guys like them? Do you like to use them? Are they worth it?
I have the large shadow and the cheek brush. I love them, and they keep really well. I had mine for 3 years, but I care for them by washing them with baby shampoo every now and again.
