I'm selling some Mary Kay makeup for my sister in law on eBay. I had a question from someone asking the expiration date. I looked all over the specific item (Time Wise 4 pc. set) and couldn't find it anywhere. Maybe some guidance?? Thanks in advance!!

Most things like makeup and hair products are good for up to 12 months. The best thing would be to ask your sister in law how long ago she purchased it... if it was over a year then the product might not be any good anymore...

How do I get into selling Mary Kay makeup?

I have never sold Mary Kay or Avon. How can I get into selling Mary Kay? Does it cost anything to start selling? How much do you get paid for selling it? Someone please explain this whole thing to me, I have no idea. What happens if you can't get anyone to buy from you?
Mary Kay starter Kit is $100 you get over $300 in product to get you started it includes trays,mirrors,order forms books and more I can send you a sheet that has the break down. Then you have the option to purchase inventory based on what you want from you business. Do not let anyone tell you it is required. You are an independent contractor buying directly form the wholesaler so you buy for $1.00 and sell for $2.00 making you money from the customer. You do not wait to get paid from the company you control that by collecting from the customer if you choice no inventory then you want to collect 50% to all the money up front ( remember you buy for half prose the balance is your profit) Okay as far as not getting anyone to buy from you I can't image that happening especially since I started strictly for personal use with no intention of selling it and found it very easy to sell but lets say no one does then you paid $100 for over $300 in full size product you can keep for yourself or give as gifts. I love thee philosophy of try before you buy and building relationships with your customers not a one time sale. I came from a financial background so I researched thee company before I even considered it. What I found amazed me not only is the business plan taught at major universities around the a would but Mary Kay also has a charitable foundation to support research for cancers that affect women and ending domestic violence. Like I said I was only do it for personal use in the begging but after getting pregnant I was able to quit my job and stay home with my children.

How do you become a Mary Kay Makeup Sales Rep?

Right now money is tight because I just finished up school and can't find a job in this economy. I have been looking into other options like becoming a Mary Kay Rep or something like that for some extra cash. Does anyone know what it takes to do this or can explain their experience to me? Any help would be great. Also if you have any other suggestions... Thanks so much!

What specifics are you looking to get?? I would recommend talking to your Mary Kay consultant assuming you have one and have used the products
You sign the agreement which purchases the starter kit this can be done online or on paper. It cost $100 plus shipping 8.75 and your state tax you get $323 in full size products training materials supplies books mirrors trays tote bags and more
Once you get your starter kit usually about 2-3 days your Director will set up an orientation or mail a packet to you explaining the next steps giving you options based on how you want to run your business my Director put it like this do you want an order taking business a full department store ( super wal-mart) or something in between.
She will then explain weekly meetings trainings workshops etc as well as go over inventory option please know inventory is totally optional based on how you want to run your business.
Also make sure you really like and trust your consultant and or her Director this is the person you will be working with for training and support. There are no territories so the person does not have to be local to you. I am adopted since my Director is an hour away I love my Director and can call her anytime but I work with someone locate to my on a weekly basis.

I need the next shade up from Mary Kay makeup beige 304 foundation?

I now use the full coverage foundation beige 304 it was it a perfect shade. But now that my face is tanning I need the next shade up from 304. Does anyone know what that would be? I have a Mary Kay book, but the next shade up in the book doesn't look even close to the 304.

Hello there! The next shade up from beige 304 is beige 305 - then it jumps to beige 400.
