My schoolmates and I are thinking of an investigatory project concerning organic makeup and does anyone have knowledge of this kind? Thank you for anyone who helps!
I run a website dedicated to organic makeup and skin care. I recommend you check it out, because there is a lot of useful information there.
For some ideas:
http://www.organicmakeupandskincare.com/organic-makeup-lines.htm this is a list of organic makeup brands from around the world. Purest I could find.
Also check this: http://www.organicmakeupandskincare.com/blog/2008/04/common-ingredients-to-avoid-in-your-skin-care-routine/
it's a list of ingredients to avoid in general.
I also recommend checking out the site for campaign for safe cosmetics. There is a lot of information there about the cosmetics industry.
http://www.safecosmetics.org/
and this: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/
is a good database about ingredients in cosmetics.
Good luck!

Anyone have tips for faerie organic makeup other than the ones they give you?
Dec 17, 2008 by Bre Lynn | Posted in Makeup
i ordered Faerie organic mineral makeup and i love it! it looks great when i put it on except it too makes my skin look like i have big pores, but i dont. all powder makeup does this to me. does anyone know why? And also what can i do to make it stay on all day?
Use a primer. It'll cover your pores and make them look invisible, and it will also keep your makeup on all day. I really like the smashbox photofinish light, because I have acne prone skin. But a few of drugstore companies have recently come out with primers, I know rimmel and revlon both have primers. You could also use monistat chafing relief powder-gel.
Good luck :)

Does anyone know of a good organic makeup not tested on animals and no animal products in Australia?
Nov 16, 2008 by Tall Girl | Posted in Makeup
What is a good natural/organic mineral makeup that I can use daily and not get skin irritations? I've tried all the Revlon, MAC, Estee Lauder, and all of the high end stuff but I want to go organic and I'd like products that don't have animal by products in them and aren't tested on animals, I live in Australia....thanks
Price isn't an issue, I don't mind paying alot for good makeup
Almay or Avon.
Almay is available at Priceline and isn't too expensive.

Where can I get ORGANIC and EXCELLENT quality makeup?
Sep 29, 2008 by <'•-•'> | Posted in Makeup
ok so my mom is the type where she wants me to have organic makeup and not the cheapo stuff from rite-aid and such...so I want to find organic makeup at a good price but also good quality...and also it would be great if the makeup wasn't tested on animals :)
also fun mascara colors that follow these guidelines...
So, ask your mum to find it for you, if you can't.

Where can I buy organic makeup?
Feb 09, 2008 by Me | Posted in Makeup
Lately I have been using organic or natural lotion and lip care, and I notice a big difference. I would like to try more organic or natural makeup but I can not buy anything online. In what stores can I find natural makeup, and what are some good companies to try?
Try health food stores and organic markets. I've seen a line of makeup in a local market/vitamin store. You could also try GNC or similiar stores. Burt's Bees sells good lip balms and possibly other items.
