Permanent Makeup?
Can someone please post info on permanent makeup (for the lips)? How old do you have to be to get it? What are risks and stuff? How will affect regular makeup? Thanks.
Please don't post sarcastic comments.
Also can getting permanent lipstick make your lips fuller looking?
Also can you get the inside of your lip tattooed so there's no makeup line?
Also I'm interested in "Lash enhancement" And I heard eyeliner can be used to reshape the eyes. Is there a way to get a skin toned tattoo that can make your eye appear more slanted?
i wouldn't get permanent makeup done unless i was like in my 50s or older and very set in my makeup habits, when you are young you like to experiment and try new things
this is not sarcasm, it's truth...if you do not die you will get old, and you will be stuck with the look of 30 40 years past.
I have several clients who have done it, and even the few who had it done by someone who was actually good look ridiculous! It's a harsh look, and so completely unnatural...
Yes, you can get it filled-in on the whole lip. That's the only way I would get it, but I wouldn't get it if ya know what I mean. :)
Risks are like that of any tattoo, I'd assume, but probably higher when it comes to permanent eyeliner (a tattoo needle by the eye- YIKES!). It probably won't impact your regular makeup too much (it hasn't on my clients) except when it's healing and when you're trying to wear a color lighter than what's inked on you.
And I have no idea the age restriction.
If you MUST do this, please get it from a reputable salon, not some chick who has a business card at the nail salon or tattoo parlor! I'd say if it doesn't severely hurt your wallet you're going to a hack.
Good Luck
The thing to consider for young people is that cosmetic tattooing requires a certain amount of maintenance - something that can be difficult and expensive for the younger crowd. Also the face goes through a lot of changes over the years and one needs to allow for that.
You really are asking far too much for this forum - it is best to go on some websites devoted to this and do a lot of research - remember, we are talking about the face and lips are advanced work.
The biggest risk is not liking the outcome. Of course, if you ever get cold sores you can easily get them from lip tattooing.
Allergic reactions can occur but are rare. There is little issue with using conventional makeup - generally the lip shade will not appear the same though over lip tattooing but no one seems to mind.
Probably email me and we can discuss more specifics. In the meantime, look for a professional here in your area to view websites - www.spcp.org
How much money do permanent makeup artists make?
I am looking to attend a school for permanent makeup and makeup artistry, and i would like to know if anyone knows how much they make yearly. I know that most services like perm- eyebrows, lipliner, and eyeliner run from 200-400 dollars. Anyone got any info?
I have a friend who did that and she said that the lips and eyeliner are all like $400 a pop but u have to either do it from your home or go into other peoples homes or u have to go to a salon where they let u do it there....but u have to get insurance cause god forbid someone tries to sue u over screwing up they're face lmao
Can you do permanent makeup on your whole face?
Not just on your lips or eyes, but I mean the whole face. My problem is that my neck is darker than my face since I've had a chemical peel before. So I wanna know if there is a way to do like foundation permanent makeup on your whole face. Any help would be great.
I doubt that they are able to do that......
It would be extremely uncomfortable and it would take a long time not to mention that it will most likely look weird.
There are other alternatives like a tinted moisturiser ....... this is alot better than cosmetic tattooing or if you want something more permanent then look at getting some sun although it could cause pigmentation if you're prune to getting freckles.
Either way having a lighter face is fine, not everyone has the same colour all over.

Can You Use Regular Tattoo Ink For Tattooing Permanent Makeup? Is there a difference in the pigments?
Is there a difference between the pigments? Why can't tattoo ink be used for permanent makeup?
Sure but it might look like crap.
Anyone that gets permanent makeup is making a mistake, I don't like a lot of makeup on women and I actually prefer none at all. If you get permanent makeup via tattooing, and then sometime down the road change your mind, it will be ten times harder to get it removed than a regular tatoo because of the proximity of your eyes. Think about it. Just use the temp stuff and when you're alone you can wash it all off and just be yourself.
ps: I don't mind a classy tattoo, I have a few myself.
Can you get artificial freckles made with permanent makeup?
I know that permanent makeup is a type of tattoo and the one thing that I've always wanted was a slight dusting of facial and neck freckles (I think freckles are cute). I'd figured that freckles done by that method would be nothing but a scattered collection of lighter beauty marks so I wonder if it's possible. If so, where could I get it done?
This area is certainly within my expertise. I have refused this on more than one occasion. Browns used in cosmetic tattooing are not very stable for many reasons I won't go into here BUT just a lone beauty mark has to get touched up frequently - a slew of freckles will turn on you and will you want to be chasing down fading color forever?
It is one thing when we do eyebrows. Women who need them are used to either penciling or powdering them so if they fade, it is not a big deal to use that as a guide and color them a bit. You are not going to want to do that with your fake freckles.
By the way...people spend thousands having them removed with laser...as already said here - the grass is always greener...
