Manicure set?
I am looking for a good manicure set. It must include a buffer. Doess anyone have a set they are happy with that they would recomend? (If you can include a website where I can order it, that would be great.)
I don't want to go to the salon all the time, whenever I have a problem. I want a kit to take care of small problems myself.
I swear by the Ms. Manicure sets! They sell them at Kohls and they cost $5-20. You should also take your kit with you to the salon because most salons DO NOT do a proper sterilization of the tools that they use which can cause infections and diseases in your hands/feet. Disgusting I know. Here is one from The Body Shop that costs $18 and is a good professional manicure set to take to the salon:

What is that white pencil for that comes in my manicure set?
Okay, Im not that bright when it comes to this stuff, but I recently received a manicure set that comes with a white pencil, that is kind of gooey....lol...what am I supposed to do with this?
you run it under your nails to highlight the white part of your nail to help guide you when you are painting a french manicure.

Nails Inc do a good French mani set, they cost £20 and you get the base coat, white and the top coat. You can find them in Boots or Debenhams.
How much do tip a person who gives you a manicure/pedicure/full set?
I'm unsure how much to tip any person who gives me a manicure/pedicure or even a full set at the nail salon. I figure a couple of dollars is appropriate.
