aloe vera moisturizer?

I have acne and I am currently treating it with a prescription from the doctor which is working but my skin is very dry and i want a moisturizer that won't cause more acne and will also help fade acne scars which is why i want an aloe vera one, does anyone of a good aloe vera moisturizer i could use?
Buy a bottle of liquid aloe vera, or grow a plant and use the gel from inside it. It works well for me.

Just use an oil free moisturizer. juicebeauty has a good one.
but also i just started using the concealer from afterglow cosmetics which has aloe vera as a main ingredient & i've found it actually helps clear up my blemishes! hope this helps.

yup, the product is called aloe vera gelly. website is www.foreverliving.com (not sure if you can buy off it) and the company name is 'forever living products'. This stuff is meant to have a very high aloe content. On the tube it says, 'enjoy the natural essence of pure 100% aloe vera gel in a smooth translucent base. aloe vera gelly is especially prepared for topical application to moisturize, smoothe and condition, its non-irritating action makes aloe vera gelly an ideal companion for your skin'. As for healing scars, my mum (who is a distributer of aloe vera) says that it will help in the long run but it will probably never completly get rid of scars :(. i hope this helps.

go to forever-living.net and look for the aloe vera moisturizer and the bee propolis creme they are great non-grease and the bee propolis is great for skin with acne problems. Try both they are affordable and you can use it on your face or body. I've been using them for more than 1year withou interruptions. With this cold winter both work wonders.

Does applying moisturizer or aloe vera gel prevent peeling after a serious sunburn?

if it does prevents peeling, shouldn't i stop applying since i want my skin to peel so that i wont get tanned?
aloe heals the burn, milk helps too. You want to help the burn heal. To keep from getting tan use sun screen. It's great stuff. Helps keep you from getting skin cancer.

Okay to apply aloe vera gel over my other moisturizer?

I use a quality moisturizer at night. Once it dries, I apply a light layer of pure aloe vera gel over that as well. Is that okay to do? It doesn't make my skin extra oily, but I'm wondering if it hinders the quality of my other moisturizer? Any help would be appreciated!

After my daily facial cleansing, I apply aloe vera gel on my face, then cocoa butter (not 100%). Is that safe? Or should I just use a plain moisturizer on my face?
That depends on your skin type: mildly dry, moderately dry, or severely dry. Aloe is a soothing agent, great for sunburned skin. Cocoa butter is decent for mildly dry to moderately dry skin. Using both together has no danger in terms of irritating your skin. However, because moisturizers don't really "add" moisture to your skin, but rather just coat it with lipids to prevent further moisture loss, ANY price-range moisturizers, with enough emollients, will do the work. If you want to reap the extra benefits of slowing down the free radicals production, choose moisturizers with antioxidants (Vitamins A, C, and/or E) that are listed on the very top or the beginning of the ingredients list. The farther down an ingredient is listed, the less the amount the product contains.

can i use aloe vera gel over my clean and clear dual action moisturizer? or should i just use one? i dont have a sunburn or anything but i hear aloe is good for getting rid of blemishes and brown spots (does it get rid of pimples?). if i dont use both then which one would u reccomend?
don't use both at the same time. If you are using a dual action moisturizer, that should be sufficient. But aloe is soothing to any skin irritation. When you want to use that, just skip the moisturizer for a day or so. I never hear that it gets rid of pimples OR brown spots. I may try it on my brown spots!
