What is a good oil free moisturizer to use while I am pregnant?
Apr 11, 2008 by jlp207 | Posted in Skin Conditions
I have suffered from mild acne all of my life and before I was pregnant was on an antibiotic which cleared me right up. Now, obviously not taking anything-my acne is tremendously flared. My doctor put me on a safe topical cream which dries my skin. I need a really good moisturizer that is oil free and that will not create worse breakouts. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks!
My dermatologist told me to use Cetaphyl products. You can get them at CVS....they were actually made for dermatologists offices but are also available to the public. I am very happy with the face wash and the oil free mousturizer. Here is a link so you can see what the packaging looks like. They are usually kept on the bottom shelves and hard to spot.

I like the Neutrogena line of products. Also proactive makes a nice, light moisturizer for the face.

You can try this it should be safe and acts as a good moisturizer. Aloe vera pulp is an effective acne treatment it can be applied on the acne as well as taken internally to clear the system. Check out http://totalskincare-s.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.

What's the best oil free to moisturizer to use while treating acne?
Jul 31, 2006 by Nicole S | Posted in Tattoos
I am currently 5 months pregnant. I have a serious acne problem that has gotten worse now that I am pregnant. I am trying to find a oil free moisturizer to use in order to keep my face from overdying. What are the best ones to use and where can I learn more informatikon about the ingredients that they contain?
I've used many different so-called "oil-free" moisturizers while treating acne. So far, my favourite is Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion. You can get it easily from murad.com or Sephora stores. Good luck :)

oil free moisturizer that works & takes away skin redness?
Jan 26, 2008 by annelisakova | Posted in Other - Skin & Body
I use Neutrogena oil free moisture but it doesn't really moisturize my skin very well. If my skin is flaky from acne medication, it doesn't really work. My skin is acne prone so I can't use any moisturizer with oil in it. Also my skin gets very red and irritated...I need something to calm it down and take away the redness, that doesn't have oil in it. Any suggestions?
Cetaphil
there are no real additives, no perfumes or colors
It is the only real one that moisturizes my skin while not giving
my skin the urge to break out or redden.
I have a few European facials to relieve the irritation and small patches of acne. Cetaphil was recommended at that time and I have been hooked ever since.
